The menu features authentic Italian pastas and risottos, all freshly made daily. The desserts are all homemade and the canola especially is to die for. A short but well chosen wine list is available, and Gusto also do outside catering for your events are home or business.

First, my email inbox gets filled with press releases telling me when a restaurant has opened; and second, I get emails from kind readers who tell me about what they experienced in restaurants. But this week I put my doubts aside and went for lunch there with Gerard Carthy of Taste of Ireland [...] Of the two kinds of emails, I'm more inclined to believe the ones from readers, who aren't being paid to plug the restaurants. I've been getting emails from a few Italian readers telling me I should try Terrazzo Italia in the Powerscourt Town Centre. All of the emails assured me it was a truly authentic experience.
You probably know I'm doubtful when I hear the word "authentic" when it comes to Italian restaurants because years of experience have taught me to expect anything but authenticity.
We were staying at the nearby Ashling Hotel and were looking for someplace for dinner. Gusto was just a few minutes walk from the hotel. We walked in and were enveloped by wonderful aromas. We were greeted warmly and shown a table near the pastry case. We shared a brushetta appetizer which was very tasty despite the fact that the tomatoes were not ripe out of the garden. I had mushroom ravioli in a light sauce. They were obviously hand made. My sister had the cannelloni. They were filled with spinach and cheese. They were enrobed in a light tomato sauce. We each had a glass of wine. Our server was always checking up on us. The chef even came out to our table to say hello. This seemed like a neighborhood place. Our server seemed to know quite a few of the diners. We were very disappointed when we went back on a Monday and Gusto wasn't open.
Authentic cooking and welcoming atmosphere. Will definitely go again. Want something not on the menu? If they have the ingredients they will make it for you!

Great menu and wine list, service very attentive and the food was real Italian cooked by someone who obviously loves their profession. Little Carrot & Parsnip Soup with Green Pesto Oil amuse-bouche - very tasty. My Ravioli was delicious, my wife's Gnocchi looked terrific - Rosemary Potatoes and Garlic Bread on the side - very yummy. One beer, one Glass of Wine - €54 which in my book is great value. Will be back and I recommend you dear reader try Gusto too...
I was there with some friends...we ordered pizza and was absolutely tasty and not expensive.The staff was nice with us and quickly...AMAZING for a busy restaurant!We will return!I recommend this place
